# HackTheWorld

HackTheWorld, or HTW, is a controlled digital identity issuance system for people already building the future.

HTW identities are reviewed and selectively issued. Identity is issued, not created. The founding identity set is capped at 100 issued identities.

## Public Position

Recognition Without Introduction.

Recognition for people already building the future.

HTW is not a generic account system, public dashboard, gaming group, crypto project, or open membership funnel. The public site presents the system and accepts requests for identity access.

The homepage introduces HTW, shows the founding identity cap, explains the contrast between recognized and unrecognized identity, and provides the public request-access form shell.

## Standing

The standing page is the verification gate and standing/status surface for HTW identities. The current public frontend renders the pre-verification state:

* STATUS: PENDING
* EMAIL: UNVERIFIED
* INVITATIONS: LOCKED

Backend verification wiring is pending. The frontend does not claim real verification state until that backend exists.

## Identity Issuance Philosophy

HTW identity is issued, not created. Applicants can request access, but issuance requires review. An issued identity is intended to act as a controlled recognition layer, not a self-claimed badge.

## Language Rules

Use invite and invitation language.

Do not use referral or partner language for public access-source concepts.

Use Founding Member for one identity/person and Founding Members for the group.
